April Color of the Month - Bláthanna

Bláthanna (blaw-hana) is Irish for flowers.
These are the sorts of colors I want to see after the long winter - magenta, pink, violet, periwinkle - pretty much anything other than snow or the color of dormant grass!

March Color of the Month - Éire

This color came about while experimenting. I wanted to mix greens and browns without it looking muddy. When it was all done, it reminded me of Irish farmland in the springtime with lambs frolicking. One day I went out for a walk while I was living in the countryside of Co. Cork. I stopped at a farmyard gate and lambs were going mental leaping all over the place. I was laughing at loud. The farmer drove up to the gate and asked me if I needed anything. This Chicago girl said, "No, just laughing at the lambs." He looked at me like I was crazy and drove into the farm.

Continuing with my Irish language names, presenting Grá. Grá (graw) is Irish for love.
I wanted to make a variegated pink and red skein, but wasn't sure how it work out. This turned out better than I expected. I grá it!
