You Are the One Silk Mohair Yarn

Inspired by the a-ha song You Are the One from the album Stay on These Roads

You Are the One came about when I attempted to speckle yarn and I was hooked. The first skeins of You Are the One were a riot of color with no negative space, now I try to keep the negative space as clean as possible - not always an easy thing.

*A note about speckled mohair - Mohair is greedy. It sucks up the color like crazy! If you need matching skeins for a larger project, please let me know and I'll do my best to match the skeins.

Can you say cloud? I'm lucky that my yarn provider has such a lovely silk mohair. I've knit several items with this and have yet to run across a rouge guard hair in the mohair. While mohair is soft and lovely on the skin, it can be a pain on the needles. This yarn loves to stick to itself, so when you make a mistake be calm in the ripping out process.
