Inspired by a-ha from the MTV Unplugged Concert/album Summer Solstice

Sadly, a-ha isn't known for much more than Take on Me in the U.S. and they were pretty much written off as a pretty boy pop band. If you have a few minutes, find the acoustic version of Take on Me by a-ha online; the pop anthem of the 80s sounds like a hymn. It's hauntingly beautiful and it's so much more than bubble gum pop...which was the inspiration for this color. It's a complex pink with layers of color.
